This is an extremely insightful article written by one of THE MOST INFLUENTIAL arts patrons in the world.  Agnes Gund lives and breathes art through her charitable work and board appointments- she knows what she’s talking about!

Highlights:  Ms. Gund points out that one of the most important interactions between art and the public is through PUBLIC SPACES that are not traditionally designed to showcase art, like in a museum or gallery.  I totally agree, and want to encourage collectors and artists to continue to collaborate outside of the traditional “art box”.  We can and should continue to make art available in diverse physical spaces.  If something catches your eye that is outside of the box and super fresh, let me know!
